Dashreels DMCA Copyright Policy

1. Introduction

Dashverse Corp. (‘Dashreels’, ‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users of the Dashreels platform, website, mobile applications and related services (collectively, the ‘Services’) to do the same. This Policy is adopted pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (‘DMCA’), 17 U.S.C. §512.

2. Platform Content

Dashreels primarily distributes and streams professionally licensed and curated audiovisual content. The Services are not designed as a user-generated content platform and generally do not permit users to upload content for public distribution. Nevertheless, Dashreels respects intellectual property rights and will investigate and respond to copyright complaints relating to any content made available through the Services.

6. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing all information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(g), including identification of the removed material, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact information, and consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate U.S. federal court.

7. Restoration of Content

If Dashreels receives a valid counter-notification, Dashreels may restore the material in accordance with the DMCA unless the complaining party files an action seeking a court order within the period prescribed by law.

Dashreels maintains and reasonably implements a policy for terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at its discretion, the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers. Dashreels may consider a variety of factors when determining whether a user is a repeat infringer, including the number and nature of valid infringement notices received, the circumstances surrounding the alleged infringement, and any counter- notifications or other relevant information.

9. Good Faith Requirement

Copyright complaints submitted through the DMCA process must be made in good faith. Dashreels reserves the right to disregard notices that do not substantially comply with applicable legal requirements or that appear fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, or submitted in bad faith.

10. Misrepresentations

Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake or misidentification, may be liable for damages, costs and attorneys’ fees under applicable law, including Section 512(f) of the DMCA.

11. No Legal Advice

Dashreels does not provide legal advice regarding copyright ownership, infringement claims, counter-notifications or related matters. Parties should consult their own legal counsel where appropriate.
